What’s new
New calculators, refreshed CMS rates, and improvements to the toolkit. PostAcuteTools is actively maintained — rates are reviewed against each CMS Final Rule and the tools stay free and browser-based.
Printable, branded PDF export on every calculator
Every calculator now has a one-click Print / Save PDF button that produces a clean, branded summary of your result. On the PDPM and PDGM calculators the PDF also carries a “reproduce this result” link, and both tools added a Copy shareable link button. As always, nothing you enter is stored or sent — the PDF is generated entirely in your browser.
FY2026 rates, single-sourced and dated
All payment rates now come from one source and are stamped with their CMS Final Rule version and review date in a Data Status panel on each tool. FY2025–2026 figures are final; FY2027 figures are clearly labeled as proposed. A monthly reminder now prompts a rate review when new CMS rules are expected.
Search-indexing & navigation fixes
Resolved a canonical-URL issue that was de-indexing pages, and refreshed the homepage and section hubs with smooth page-to-page transitions. Reduced-motion and accessibility support throughout.
New: About / case study
Added an About page describing how and why PostAcuteTools was built, including its deliberately database-free, no-PHI architecture.
IRF & LTCH payment estimators and the remittance toolkit
Added federal-payment estimators for inpatient rehab (CMG weight) and long-term care (DRG weight) with outlier logic, plus the remittance suite: the 835 / ERA decoder, CARC / RARC / CAGC lookup, and an 835 balancing calculator.
The core toolkit
PDPM and PDGM calculators with full 468-area CBSA wage-index localization, HIPPS decoders and component builders, the hospice and Part B therapy suites, diagnosis lookups, plain-English guides, and operational workflows — all free and browser-based.
